Welder - Greenland



We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Greenland. In this role, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication work on various metal structures and components. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and strong technical skills to ensure high-quality welds.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding processes
- Select appropriate welding equipment and materials based on the project requirements
- Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping according to specifications
- Set up components for welding according to blueprints or verbal instructions
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal pieces
- Inspect completed welds for defects and make corrections if necessary
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Welder with a strong portfolio of past projects
- Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored arc welding
- Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
- Ability to read measurements accurately using tools such as calipers, rulers, or measuring tapes
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality welds consistently
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Valid Welding Certification preferred but not required
- Own visa with eligibility to work in Greenland

Salary: 1700$ per month

Location: Greenland (local candidates preferred)
