Handyman (Contract Position)

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team on a contract basis in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across various properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without experience to gain hands-on experience in the handyman profession.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, and repairing drywall
- Conduct routine inspections of properties and identify any potential repairs or maintenance needs
- Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner
- Install and repair appliances, fixtures, and other equipment
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and up to code

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month. As a handyman, you may be required to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings depending on the needs of the properties. You will also need to travel between different properties in Almada.
