Turner for Metal Fabrication Company in the US


We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our metal fabrication company in the US. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used to shape and cut metal materials. The ideal candidate must have experience working with various types of metal and be able to interpret technical drawings to produce accurate and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery to shape and cut metal materials
- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate production
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure products meet specifications
- Maintain machinery by conducting regular inspections, cleaning, and lubricating as needed
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role in a metal fabrication setting
- Strong knowledge of different types of metal and their properties
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects when necessary
