We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Preservation Architect to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historic buildings and structures while adhering to strict preservation guidelines. Your role will involve conducting thorough assessments of structures, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of historic buildings and structures to identify potential preservation needs
- Develop comprehensive preservation plans that maintain the historical integrity of the structure while also ensuring safety and functionality
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to oversee restoration projects from start to finish
- Ensure that all preservation work follows strict guidelines and regulations set by local and national authorities
- Use your expertise in architectural design to create innovative solutions for preserving historic structures
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in preservation techniques and technologies to continuously improve our methods

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Preservation Architect or in a related field
- Strong understanding of local and national regulations related to historic preservation
- Proficient in architectural design software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary: 1400$ per month

Location: Faro, Portugal
