Typesetter for Contract Position in Almada, Portugal

We are currently seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Almada, Portugal on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in typesetting and layout design, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Typeset and layout text and graphics for print and digital publications
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of text, fonts, and formatting
- Collaborate with editors and designers to create visually appealing layouts
- Use software such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop to create designs
- Proofread final layouts for errors or discrepancies
- Communicate with printers or digital publishers to ensure proper output of materials
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience in typesetting and layout design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
- Knowledge of printing processes is a plus

This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation will not be provided. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Portugal.
