Our publishing company is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging the text and images of books, magazines, and other publications to ensure they are visually appealing and easy to read. The ideal candidate will have experience in typesetting and a strong attention to detail. This is a full-time position, with accommodation provided if needed. Applicants must have their own visa and be able to start immediately. This is an urgent job opening, so we are looking for candidates who can commit to the role long-term.

As a Typesetter, your responsibilities will include using publishing software to format text and images, adjusting layout and design elements as needed, ensuring proper spacing and alignment of text, correcting any errors or inconsistencies in the text, and collaborating with editors and designers to produce high-quality publications.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines. A strong understanding of typography, page layout, and design principles is also essential for this role.

Requirements:
