Construction Manager - Svalbard, Norway

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Svalbard, Norway. As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the construction process, from planning and budgeting to overseeing the actual building process. Your main goal will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules that meet budgetary and timeline requirements
- Oversee all construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Manage project budgets and make necessary adjustments to stay within financial constraints
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Ensure quality control throughout the construction process
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and identify any potential risks or issues

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions quickly

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management
- Familiarity with project management software
- Valid driver's license
