Part-time Android Developer


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Jerusalem. As a part-time developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. This position is perfect for a Canadian who is looking for a flexible work schedule and does not require English proficiency. Prior experience with biometric passport technology is preferred but not required. Women are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to ensure optimal performance
- Stay updated with new trends and technologies in the Android development space
- Continuously improve application usability and functionality
- Take ownership of projects from conception to launch

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Android development
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs and JSON
- Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Familiarity with Git version control system
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this part-time position.

Location:
This job is based in Jerusalem, but we welcome candidates from all nationalities as long as they have the necessary work permits.
