Executive Chef at a Luxury Resort in Mauren, Malaya
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxurious resort in the beautiful city of Mauren. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our resort, creating innovative and delicious menus, and ensuring high-quality food and service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create menus that showcase local ingredients and reflect the cultural diversity of Malaya
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Supervise all aspects of food production, including purchasing, inventory management, and kitchen sanitation
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
- Monitor food costs and implement strategies to improve profitability without compromising quality
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu items
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury resort or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Malay cuisine as well as international cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes consistently
- A degree in culinary arts or related field is preferred
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month, along with accommodation provided by the resort.
