Pastry Chef
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats for our restaurant in Ar-Ruwais. The ideal candidate must have experience in a professional kitchen environment and possess strong knowledge of baking techniques and flavor combinations. Salary for this position is $900 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus for desserts, pastries, and other baked goods
- Create new and innovative dessert recipes while also maintaining classic favorites
- Oversee production of all pastry items, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Train and supervise pastry team members, delegating tasks as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Creativity in developing new recipes while also adhering to traditional methods
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and delegate tasks to team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Food safety certification is preferred
