Indian Merchandiser in Sharjah

As an Indian Merchandiser in Sharjah, you will be responsible for selecting, purchasing and displaying products to attract customers and drive sales. You will work closely with suppliers, buyers, and store managers to ensure that the right products are in the right place at the right time.

Responsibilities:
- Research market trends and customer preferences to make informed purchasing decisions
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of products
- Plan product ranges and stock levels based on sales data and forecasts
- Collaborate with visual merchandisers to create attractive displays that showcase products effectively
- Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to avoid overstock or stockouts
- Analyze sales data to identify top selling products and make recommendations for promotions or markdowns
- Communicate regularly with store managers to understand their needs and provide support as necessary
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a merchandiser or similar role in a retail setting
- Strong negotiating skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and product placement strategies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or relevant field preferred
- Experience working in a retail environment in Sharjah is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analyzing sales data
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus

Salary: 1700$ per month
