Head Chef


We are hiring an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at a high-end restaurant in Al-Khor. The ideal candidate will be a Pakistani national with excellent English communication skills and a strong background in culinary arts. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating new menu items, managing inventory and food costs, training and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards. You must have a passion for food and creativity to constantly innovate the menu while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new menu items that align with the restaurant's concept and appeal to the target audience
- Manage inventory and control food costs by ordering supplies, tracking usage, and minimizing waste
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and hygiene standards
- Oversee food preparation to ensure dishes are consistently made to meet quality standards
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions that feature unique menus or dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu development

Requirements:
- Pakistani nationality preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef in high-end restaurants
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
- Ability to manage inventory, control costs, train staff, and maintain quality standards
- Passion for food with knowledge of international cuisines
- Proven creativity in developing new menu items
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work well under pressure

Salary:
Starting salary of $1800 per month with potential for growth based on performance.

Location:
This position is located in Al-Khor, Qatar. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
