Executive Chef
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at our high-end restaurant in Al-Khor. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure the highest level of culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new menus that adhere to our restaurant's concept and standards
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Excellent communication skills in English (French language skills are an asset)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
