Senior Librarian

As a Senior Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library collection and providing excellent customer service to library patrons. This position is based in Faisalabad and offers a salary of 1700$ per month, along with a free visa and ticket for non-local candidates.

Your main duties will include overseeing the selection, acquisition, and cataloging of materials for the library collection. You will also be responsible for maintaining the library's online catalog and ensuring that all materials are properly labeled and organized. As a senior staff member, you will also work closely with other librarians to develop policies and procedures for the library.

In addition to managing the collection, you will also provide assistance to library patrons by helping them locate materials, answering research questions, and providing technology support. You will also lead workshops and training sessions to educate patrons on how to effectively use library resources.

To excel in this role, you should have a degree in Library Science or a related field, along with previous experience working in a library setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing the collection efficiently. Excellent communication skills are also important for providing quality customer service to library patrons.
