Commercial Architect
Location: Alta, Norway



As a Commercial Architect in our firm, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings in Alta, Norway. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative and functional designs that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their project goals and requirements
- Create detailed design plans and blueprints for commercial buildings
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure designs are feasible and meet building codes
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of proposed designs
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and other expenses
- Oversee the construction process to ensure designs are being implemented correctly
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to designs
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues that arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Commercial Architect
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Prior experience working on commercial projects is preferred

Salary & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1800 per month. Accommodation will also be provided for the successful candidate. Visa sponsorship may be available for non-Norwegian applicants.
