A reputable construction company in La-Condamine is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks on various construction projects, ensuring the highest quality of work and strict adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine layout and welding procedures
- Operate welding equipment and hand tools such as grinders, drills, and saws
- Clean, prepare, and set up materials for welding
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and repair any welding defects or malfunctions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training is an asset
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Welder in a construction or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
