Executive Chef - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
As an Executive Chef at our 5-star restaurant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced chef who is passionate about creating innovative dishes using fresh, local ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain consistency and quality in food preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards in food handling and preparation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine, including Arabic cuisine
- Ability to create unique, visually appealing dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Biometric passport required for international travel
