Junior Sous Chef
We are a leading restaurant in Jeddah, seeking a talented and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our team. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to assist in overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring high quality food is consistently delivered to our guests. This position offers a salary of 1000$, accommodation, and the opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and training kitchen staff
- Help create menus and recipes
- Ensure food is prepared according to company standards and recipes
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution
- Experience working in a fine dining restaurant
- Experience working as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Passion for food and creativity in developing new dishes
