Job Title: Cashier - Manama, Bahrain
We are hiring a Cashier to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently. You will also provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and process their purchases accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels when needed
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and promotions
- Ensure all transactions are completed in a timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management of any shortages or discrepancies
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred but not required
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset
