Shaper for Surfboard Manufacturing Company in Dubrovnik

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Shaper to join our surfboard manufacturing company in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, custom surfboards according to specific designs and specifications. Your role will involve working with various materials such as foam, fiberglass, and resin to shape and mold the surfboards into their final form.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Shaper in a surfboard manufacturing setting
- Extensive knowledge of different types of surfboard designs and shaping techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for shaping and sanding
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials
- Fluent in English (Filipino nationality preferred)

Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients or designers to understand their desired surfboard design
- Create custom templates or molds to shape the board according to the design specifications
- Use hand tools such as saws, planers, and sanders to cut, shape, and sand the board
- Apply fiberglass cloth or resin layers onto the shaped board
- Use power tools such as sanders or grinders for finishing touches
- Inspect final product for any imperfections or defects
- Ensure all safety standards are followed during the shaping process
