Job Title: Civil Engineer - Construction Project Manager

As a Civil Engineer - Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects in the city of Akron, Ohio. Your primary role will be to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will also be responsible for coordinating with contractors, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Monitor and manage project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards
- Oversee construction activities on site to ensure they are carried out according to plans
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve any conflicts or delays
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards are met
- Prepare reports on project progress for stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and making adjustments as needed
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes in the Akron area
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team

Preferred:
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects
- Familiarity with BIM software
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Akron, Ohio (open to candidates from other nationalities)
