Executive Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine (Bansko, Bulgaria)
We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine to join our team at a luxury resort in Bansko, Bulgaria. As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of traditional and modern Indian desserts for our restaurants and banquets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menu items for our Indian restaurant, ensuring they align with guest preferences and dietary restrictions
- Oversee all aspects of the pastry kitchen, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining food safety standards
- Train and mentor pastry team members on proper techniques and procedures for preparing Indian desserts
- Collaborate with other chefs to create seasonal menus and daily specials
- Work closely with the Food and Beverage Director to control costs and maintain budget goals
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or resort setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and traditional dessert recipes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of desserts for multiple outlets
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
