Facade Specialist


As a Facade Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of building facades in the city of Svalbard. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that facades meet aesthetic, safety, and functional requirements. This is a full-time position that requires previous experience in facade engineering or construction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design innovative and durable facade systems for buildings
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess existing conditions
- Collaborate with project teams to develop facade solutions that meet budget and timeline constraints
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for facade installation
- Oversee the installation process to ensure compliance with design plans and industry standards
- Provide technical support during construction and address any issues or challenges that arise
- Develop maintenance plans for facades to ensure longevity and safety of structures

Requirements:
- Degree in architecture, civil engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in facade engineering or construction
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to facades
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills
- Availability to work full-time in Svalbard
