Entry Level Android Developer

As an entry level Android developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work alongside a team of experienced developers to design, develop, test, and debug applications that meet user needs and requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about mobile development and looking to gain experience in the field. No prior experience is required, but knowledge of Android development and programming languages such as Java or Kotlin is preferred. This is a part-time position located in Svalbard with accommodation provided. Freshers are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to develop user-friendly and efficient mobile applications
- Design and implement new features and functionality for Android applications
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing code base
- Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure high-quality performance
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the mobile development industry
- Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation

Requirements:
- Passion for mobile development and eagerness to learn new skills
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Kotlin
- Familiarity with Android Studio or other integrated development environments (IDEs)
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software architecture patterns
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Education:
A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month.

This job is located in Svalbard.

Experience:
No prior experience is required, but any previous experience in mobile development or internships would be advantageous.
