Indian Pastry Chef


We are looking for a talented Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As an experienced Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. You will work closely with our kitchen team to develop new menu items and ensure high-quality standards are met. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent knowledge of Indian pastry techniques and flavors. A competitive salary of 900$ will be offered to the successful candidate.

As an Indian Pastry Chef, your responsibilities will include:

- Creating and executing various dessert recipes, including cakes, pastries, tarts, and other baked goods.
- Developing new menu items that incorporate traditional Indian flavors and techniques.
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of all pastry items to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Managing inventory levels for all pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Training junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and assisting with their development.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen station at all times.
- Collaborating with other kitchen staff to coordinate dessert orders with main course dishes.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
- Experience in creating unique dessert recipes from scratch.
- Strong leadership skills to manage junior pastry chefs effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines for orders.
- Good communication skills in English.
