Land Surveyor - Malindi, Kenya
We are searching for a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for measuring and mapping out land areas to determine boundaries and provide accurate data for construction, engineering, and other projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting land surveys using specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and drones to accurately measure and map out land areas.
- Analyzing survey data to determine property boundaries and create detailed maps and reports.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide accurate data for construction projects.
- Conducting research on property deeds, maps, and other records to gather information needed for surveys.
- Providing guidance on land use regulations and zoning laws.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols while conducting surveys.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field.
- Relevant work experience as a Land Surveyor.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and drones.
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of CAD software for creating detailed maps.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1300$ per month along with accommodation.
