Cashier - Al-Khor, Qatar


We are hiring a Cashier to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have experience working as a cashier. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions.

Responsibilities:
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer any questions or concerns from customers regarding pricing or products
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Verify identification for purchases of age-restricted items such as alcohol or tobacco
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accurate amounts
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with cash registers or transactions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the store

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven working experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Knowledge of basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling and POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage)
- Ability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
