Java Developer


We are seeking a skilled Java Developer for our growing team in Almada. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using the Java programming language. You will work closely with our team of developers and collaborate with other departments to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using Java
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion within deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
- Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and procedures
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role
- Proficient in Java programming language and its core libraries
- Familiarity with web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Spring Framework is preferred
- Knowledge of database design and SQL
- Experience working with agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Almada but remote work options may be available for exceptional candidates.
