Architectural Technologist


As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and construction of buildings and structures. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to create detailed technical drawings and specifications for projects. Your role will involve using computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and precise drawings, as well as conducting site visits to ensure that construction is proceeding according to plan.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of building materials, methods, and regulations. You must also have excellent technical drawing skills and proficiency in CAD software. Previous experience working in a similar position is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop designs for buildings and structures
- Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction is proceeding according to plan
- Review building codes and regulations to ensure compliance
- Communicate with contractors and suppliers to obtain necessary materials and equipment
- Assist in project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with stakeholders
- Keep up-to-date with new building technologies and materials

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architectural technology or a related field
- 3+ years of experience working as an architectural technologist or similar role
- Strong understanding of building materials, methods, and regulations
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent technical drawing skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Fonvieille, a beautiful city known for its architecture and cultural heritage. The ideal candidate should be willing to relocate or already living in Fonvieille.
