Executive Chef
The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced chef with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and be able to manage a team of kitchen staff effectively. This position is located in Al-Rayyan, Qatar and offers a salary of $1200.
Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and create new dishes that meet quality standards
- Train, supervise, and coach kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or menu changes
- Stay updated on industry trends to continually improve menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in food presentation and portion control
- Experience with menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
