Part-Time Computer Support Specialist

Our technology company in Svalbard is seeking a part-time Computer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance and support to our clients, troubleshoot issues, and maintain computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Install and configure computer systems and networks
- Perform routine maintenance on computers and networks
- Set up new user accounts and manage permissions
- Train clients on how to use new technology or software
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary equipment or supplies

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred)
- Proven experience in a similar role (part-time experience is acceptable)
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with network management tools (e.g. Cisco)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Working Hours: This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The average weekly workload will be 20 hours.

Salary: $1100 per month (based on experience)
