Our growing tech startup in Oslo, Norway is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for mobile development and be proficient in Java and Kotlin. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing our native Android applications. You will work closely with our product team to translate designs into high-quality code and collaborate with other developers to ensure seamless integration with backend services. The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve is a must, as well as staying up-to-date on the latest mobile trends and technologies. We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month, along with free visa and ticket for qualified candidates. Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and functionality for our native Android applications
- Troubleshoot issues and bugs reported by users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure code quality by writing clean, maintainable code and conducting thorough testing
- Optimize app performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 3 years of experience developing native Android applications using Java or Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience working with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Familiarity with Git version control system
- Proven ability to write clean, well-designed code that follows industry best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Skills:
- Experience developing iOS applications using Swift or Objective-C
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and ability to work closely with designers
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with performance and memory tuning tools
- Passion for staying updated on the latest mobile trends and technologies
