International Cuisine Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented International Cuisine Chef to join our team in Muscat. As a chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of dishes from different countries, using authentic and high-quality ingredients. Your passion for cooking and knowledge of international flavors will bring a unique and diverse dining experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes from various international cuisines including Asian, European, and Middle Eastern
- Ensure all dishes are cooked to perfection, following recipes and portion sizes accurately
- Source and select the freshest and best quality ingredients for each dish
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into the menu
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food handling techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to create new menus or specials
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an International Cuisine Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of international flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining traditional recipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong leadership skills with previous experience in managing a team of kitchen staff
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Foreigners are welcome to apply. English fluency is preferred but not required.
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
