Courier Delivery Associate


As a Courier Delivery Associate, you will be responsible for delivering packages and documents to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a high level of physical fitness as you will be required to lift and carry heavy packages on a daily basis. You will also need to have excellent time-management skills and the ability to navigate efficiently around the city of Svalbard.

Responsibilities:
- Load packages into delivery vehicle in a safe and organized manner
- Plan delivery route for maximum efficiency
- Deliver packages and documents to customers within designated timeframe
- Collect payment from customers when necessary
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Report any delivery issues or delays to supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in courier or delivery services preferred but not required
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Excellent time-management skills
- Familiarity with Svalbard city streets
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Must be physically fit
Salary: $1500 per month

Contract job: This is a contract position with no benefits provided.

Experience required: Previous experience in courier or delivery services is preferred but not required. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Accommodation: This position does not provide accommodation. Applicants should have their own housing arrangements in Svalbard.

City: This position is based in Svalbard, an archipelago located between Norway and the North Pole.
