Carpenter Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter Assistant to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Carpenter Assistant, you will work alongside experienced carpenters to assist in the construction, repair, and maintenance of various structures and fixtures. You will also be responsible for performing basic carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and shaping materials.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the construction and repair of structures such as buildings, furniture, and fixtures.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic carpentry tasks.
- Follow safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to building codes and regulations.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Assistant or similar role.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills.

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$ per month.
