Junior Land Surveyor
As a Junior Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting in the collection and analysis of data related to land surveying projects. This includes conducting field surveys, preparing maps and reports, and using various tools and equipment such as GPS devices and total stations. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with experienced surveyors and gain hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting field surveys using various equipment such as GPS devices and total stations
- Collect and analyze data related to land surveying projects
- Prepare maps, reports, and other documentation
- Collaborate with experienced surveyors to learn new techniques and methods
- Ensure accuracy and quality control of collected data
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on site
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Knowledge of surveying principles, tools, and techniques
- Experience using GPS devices, total stations, and other surveying equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Basic knowledge of computer software such as AutoCAD or GIS
Salary: $1300 per month with potential for growth in the future.
Location: Bergen, Norway (free visa and ticket provided for non-Norwegian candidates)
