Mechanic Technician


We are in need of a skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team in Bungoma. As a Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, as well as conducting routine maintenance and inspections. You should have strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Candidates with prior experience in a similar role are preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Inspect vehicles for potential problems or safety concerns
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop solutions
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed and costs
- Keep accurate records of all repairs made on vehicles
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification from a technical school or vocational program preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a mechanic or technician
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
