We are a leading manufacturing company in Bungoma, Kenya and we are urgently seeking a skilled Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating machine tools to shape metal and other materials into precise parts. This is a full-time position with no English language requirement and no need for prior experience.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications
- Set up and adjust machine tools to efficiently produce parts
- Operate various machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of parts
- Monitor machines during operation to detect any malfunctions or issues
- Make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed
- Work with a variety of materials including metal, plastic, and wood
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience as a Turner or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings
- Proficient in using various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time while operating machinery
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision required
