Merchandising Coordinator

The Merchandising Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of merchandising strategies in Al-Malikiyah. They will work closely with the merchandising team to ensure that products are displayed in a visually appealing and organized manner. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and a creative eye for product positioning. They should also have experience in inventory management and be able to analyze sales data to make informed decisions on product placement. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

Salary: $1200/month

Location: Al-Malikiyah, Syria

Preferred Nationality: Syrian or Middle Eastern

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan product assortments and displays
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment based on sales data
- Ensure all products are accurately priced, labeled, and displayed according to company standards
- Conduct regular store visits to assess visual presentation and identify areas for improvement
- Train store staff on proper merchandising techniques and product knowledge
- Communicate with vendors regarding new product launches, promotions, and shipments
- Track sales performance of different products and adjust merchandising plans accordingly
- Assist with setting up displays for special events or seasonal promotions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in retail merchandising or visual merchandising
- Strong understanding of retail math principles and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Creative eye for product positioning and display
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments
