Junior Commercial Architect (Funchal, Portugal)



As a Junior Commercial Architect, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of commercial buildings in Funchal, Portugal. You will work closely with senior architects and project managers to bring clients' visions to life while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with senior architects to create innovative and functional designs for commercial buildings
- Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to produce detailed drawings and blueprints
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for design proposals
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Participate in team meetings and presentations to discuss project progress
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to commercial architecture

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other design software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
- Understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (fluency in Portuguese is preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Salary: 1700$ per month.

This is a full-time position with no previous experience required. However, candidates who have completed internships or have some experience in commercial architecture will be given preference.
