Heavy Equipment Operator
As a Heavy Equipment Operator in Svalbard, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials, moving earth and other materials to designated locations, and performing routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure its proper functioning. You must have at least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment and a valid driver's license. The ability to read and understand blueprints and operate GPS systems is also required. This role requires physical strength, good hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail. You must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. This position offers a salary of $1600 per month without accommodation.
