Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator



We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Svalbard. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main duties will include safely operating equipment to move earth, materials, and equipment around construction sites.

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator and possess a valid operator's license. You should also have good hand-eye coordination and be able to work well under pressure. We prefer candidates who can work without accommodation and have their own visa.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to safety guidelines
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment
- Transport materials and equipment around construction sites
- Communicate with team members to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Follow project plans and specifications
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Valid operator's license for the type of equipment being operated
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
