Milkmaid for Dairy Farm in Abu-Dhabi, Canada


Our dairy farm in Abu-Dhabi, Canada is looking for a skilled and dedicated Milkmaid to join our team. As a Milkmaid, you will be responsible for the daily care and milking of our cows. This is a physically demanding role that requires early morning starts and long hours, but it is also a fulfilling and rewarding job for those who are passionate about working with animals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Milking cows twice a day using modern milking equipment
- Monitoring the health and well-being of the cows
- Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the milking area
- Feeding and watering cows according to their specific dietary needs
- Administering medication or treatments as needed
- Assisting with calving and other tasks related to animal husbandry
- Maintaining accurate records of milk production and cow health
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment used in milk production

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Milkmaid or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of dairy farming practices and techniques
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols for animal care and food safety standards
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in French is an asset)
- Valid driver's license (Class G or equivalent) is preferred
