Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining large machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. You will work on construction sites in Akron, ensuring that the equipment is used efficiently and safely to complete projects on time.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to safety regulations and company policies
- Inspect machinery before and after use to ensure proper functioning
- Complete daily maintenance tasks such as cleaning, greasing, and refueling equipment
- Follow project plans and blueprints to complete tasks accurately
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate work efforts
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions immediately
- Adhere to strict safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Knowledge of common construction materials, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary: $1400 per month
