Hotel Sales Manager (Funchal, Portugal)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase hotel revenue and occupancy. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month, including accommodation and visa sponsorship.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and other potential business partners
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target markets
- Create sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Monitor sales performance and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent guest experiences
- Attend industry events and conferences to promote the hotel's services
- Provide training and guidance to the sales team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of the local market
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
