Senior Accountant - Mombasa, Kenya


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our company. This includes maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities of the company
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Provide guidance and support to junior accountants
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance role
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Mombasa, Kenya

This position is open to all nationalities; however, preference will be given to Indian candidates who have experience working in Kenya.
