Indian Pastry Chef - Jerusalem
A renowned restaurant in Jerusalem is seeking a skilled and creative Indian Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. Your role will also involve collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen
- Strong knowledge of Indian desserts and pastries
- Proven ability to create unique and innovative pastry dishes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality Indian desserts, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods
- Develop new menu items that align with the restaurant's concept
- Ensure all pastries are presented beautifully and meet the expected quality standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operation of the pastry section
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section according to safety standards
- Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and recipes
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies
- Stay updated on current food trends
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position.

This position is based in Jerusalem.
