Concierge - Luxury Resort, Malindi

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Concierge to join our luxury resort in Malindi. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all guest needs are met. This is a contract job with competitive salary of 1400$, perfect for recent graduates looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Provide information on resort amenities, local attractions and events
- Make reservations for dining, spa appointments, and activities
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experience
- Assist with coordinating special events and celebrations
- Handle currency exchange requests for international guests

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Prior experience as a concierge or in customer service preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
