Job Title: Contract Turner in Faro



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team on a contract basis in Faro. As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines to shape metal workpieces according to specifications. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate turning machines to perform tasks such as drilling, boring, milling, threading or tapping
- Study blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Measure dimensions of completed products using precision measuring instruments
- Inspect and troubleshoot machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Perform routine maintenance on machines such as cleaning and lubricating
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role
- Knowledge of machine tools and ability to read blueprints
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Flexible with working hours as this is a contract position

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faro, Portugal
