Senior Architect (Part-time) in Oslo, Norway


We are searching for a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various projects, while also managing a team of architects and designers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual designs and oversee the development of detailed construction plans
- Ensure that all projects meet building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide design solutions that meet their requirements
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure timely completion of projects
- Oversee a team of architects and designers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or challenges that may arise during construction
- Utilize your knowledge of sustainable design principles to create environmentally friendly buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years experience in architecture, preferably with experience leading projects and managing teams
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards in Norway
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and contractors
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other architectural software programs
- Ability to think creatively and problem-solve when faced with challenges during the design process

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- Previous experience working on residential or commercial projects in Oslo or other Scandinavian cities
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices
- Proficiency in additional languages such as Norwegian or Swedish

This is a part-time position offering a salary of 1100$ per month. The successful candidate will also receive accommodation within Oslo. Candidates must have a valid biometric passport for international travel.
